Rules for thee...but not for me.
Hi Everyone,
I had planned a newsletter for this Friday, but I think this was important enough to share immediately. Please take a look at the most recent article from the “Morning, Trojan”.
In just a few minutes of nausea-inducing review, it looks like current and past USC senior leadership have about $23.5M in outstanding Housing Loans! Because of course they do!
It certainly makes me feel like a novice when it came to negotiating when I started way back in 2009. At the least, I could have negotiated “house cleaning” to offset my 12-14 hour days in the coffee shop while making under $40k/year! Stupid me.
Here’s a quick snip-it of the compensation table, page 1.

I’m grateful for folks like Tomo Chien from the “Morning, Trojan” who are relentless in their pursuit for the truth, and their commitment to sharing it with the widest possible audience. I hope you’ll subscribe and share his newsletter with others.
It’s moments like these that reinforce the righteousness of our pursuit in simply re-securing what was promised to us, and what is fair. No more, no less. I understand that many feel like this is over, but please hang with me. It will be a long fight, but it’s not something I’m giving up on, especially when the facts counter the narrative they’re feeding us.
Until the next time,
Phil
